Partnership Update – 10th May 2011

Basic Training for Church Planters

This week two groups of men preparing for church planting work will begin meeting simultaneously in London. Please pray for Barry King and Nathan Xiques as they teach the two groups. This is a moment of critical importance as one group of men begins and another continues a training process which we trust will eventuate in the planting of many new churches in and around London. Please join us in prayer for the meetings this Saturday in Wood Green.

United Prayer Meeting for Revival

Our great need is an extraordinary outpouring of the Spirit of God in genuine revival. May I invite (no, urge!) you to join us on 16 May 2011 at 48-50 Park Ridings, London, N8 0LD at 8:00pm for our monthly United Prayer Meeting for Revival. Please make this a priority.

Grace Baptist Assembly

I value your prayers as we approach this year’s Assembly at the Hayes Conference Centre in Swanwick. The GBP trustees will journey up on Monday. We will meet together around some important issues on Tuesday morning. I will make a presentation about the Partnership after the Tuesday evening session and preach in the Wednesday morning session. We trust the Assembly will be a time of good fellowship and helpful ministry. I understand it is fully booked. Praise the Lord.

Joint Worship and Fellowship

We look forward to our next time of joint worship and fellowship on Saturday 28 May 2011 at Grace Baptist Church in Grays. The worship service in which I will be preaching will begin at 3:00pm. This meeting will be followed by tea. After tea we will hear testimonies from the various church plants in which we are (or have been) involved. The chapel is located at Salisbury Road, Grays, RM16 6DG. As normal we will receive an offering for the work of church planting in the United Kingdom.
