| March 13, 2012 | 0 Comments

Dear Brothers,

The Grace Baptist Partnership, in its endeavour to promote Church Planting and Evangelism in association with local Baptist Churches has launched a number of training programmes around the country. We are now considering running a programme in your area, based in Chelmondiston, Ipswich.

Consequently, you and any interested persons are invited to attend a launch to be held at Chelmondiston Baptist Chapel, Pin Mill Road, Chelmondiston, IP91HU on Thursday 15 March from 7.30 P.M. Barry King of the Grace Baptist Partnership will be introducing the training days and Dave Kelland will also be addressing the meeting.

The training days will equip leaders for bible ministry within the local church while the thrust of the programme is to equip prospective Church Planters to fulfill this vital role in the future. The course while considered Basic Training is pitched at a level that will really enable students to get to grips with the bible and its message for themselves. We aim to provide what we believe to be essentials for the work of the church planter.

The course will run over two years, each year being broken up into three periods or semesters of three months each. The actual time commitment for the course will be one Saturday per month for three months at a time, that is, three Saturdays per semester. There will be additional reading and writing requirements.

During the first year we will cover the following subjects: 1. How to interpret and teach the bible.2. How to preach the message of the bible. 3. How to do evangelism and church planting. This last course will also involve some practical work.

The Teaching will be carried out by Barry King and Dave Kelland and others may be brought in from time to time.

Please come along and lend an ear, bring other who may be interested and be willing to ask questions. Attendance at this launch does not involve a commitment to come to the course.

For more information, feel free to contact us.

The Lord bless you all,

Kindest regards,

David Kelland
