Month of Prayer and Giving Day 6 – Immigration and Evangelism

Immigration and Evangelism

You may not agree with Ryan King’s views on immigration. However, the victories he’s seen in evangelism recently are sure to thrill every genuine follower of Jesus Christ.

This past year alone, six men – Alireza, Saeed, Hitoshi, Shirwan, Paiwast and Ibraheem – from Muslim backgrounds attended Grace Baptist Church, Wood Green for the first time. That’s not all. This was the first time any of these men had attended a church period.

Alireza began meeting with Ryan for a one-to-one ‘Christianity Explored’ study. On New Year’s Day, he trusted Christ as his Saviour and on 5 March 2017 shared his testimony of conversion and followed the Lord in baptism.

He joins a growing number of Muslim-background believers now in membership in the church at Wood Green. In the same service a man from Bulgaria and his wife from Belarus were received into membership. The church is certainly among the most diverse Grace Baptist congregations anywhere.

Will you pray for Ryan and Uliana King today as they serve the Lord in Wood Green? Will you ask the Lord to bless their efforts to evangelise their local community and to disciple the members of a growing church?

Will you ask the Lord to bless Ryan’s ongoing work in training evangelists and church planters through his involvement with Euro Evangelism? Pray especially for projects he is spearheading this year in Sweden and Ukraine.

Also, will you prayerfully consider how you can bring the gospel to the stranger at your gate?

Warmly in Christ
