A Report from Grace Church Southall

A Report from Grace Church Southall

All the paths of the Lord are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies. (Psalm 25:10)

Dear Friends,

Greetings to you!

It has been a long while since we wrote to you. A lot has happened since June 2016. Please read below our latest ministry update.

1. Ministry Update

a) We have had seven Baptisms from June 2016 up until now. We praise the Lord for the testimony of new believers in our church. I had the privilege and honour of baptizing my younger brother Jimmy Simak in June 2016 and now I am witnessing my youngest brother coming to the saving faith in Christ. Sunny had the privilege of baptizing his own father last year too. What a blessing!

b) Even though we have had great joy of gaining four new members during this time, we also had three departing from Grace Church Southall. Two members left with good and legitimate reasons whilst the third one left due to the fear of losing his family. Though losing our friends does sadden us, as we miss them, we still continue to give thanks to God for His ongoing work of grace in the life of the church.

c) Grace Church Southall has been blessed with two new babies since last year. Vic and Simi Gill’s second child (baby girl) Grace Shalom Gill was born in September 2016. Sunny and Milly Kundhi had their first child (baby boy Keyano Chanan Kundhi) born in March 2017. We thank the Lord for these wonderful blessings from the Lord.

d) We have more reasons to rejoice because some of the youth in the church are showing greater interest in the things of God. We meet for Bible study and youth meetings on a weekly basis. There is also a growing interest for Sunday school amongst the young children too. We are greatly encouraged!

e) I continue to enjoy serving the Lord and His people alongside my dear friend Vic Gill and Sunny Kundhi. I have enjoyed studying, praying, reading and preaching the Word of God. I still marvel at the fact that God can use a foolish and weak man such as me to bring His good news to the saved and the lost. Of course, some days are lonelier and real money online slots harder than others, but the Lord is a strong help in my time of need. We continue to pray and labour amongst our brothers and sisters. The Lord is building His local church in Southall.

f) We open the chapel doors for Grace Café every Thursday. It’s humbling when you have to counsel somebody when you often feel out of your very own depth; the Lord helps though. We have seen people (Christians and non-Christians) walk through the doors to spend time with us. This gives us even stronger desire to keep this vital ministry going.

g) There are many lost people who have heard the gospel in Southall, yet remain unrepentant. Oh, how we long for the Holy Spirit to move in their lives in order to bring them to the light of Christ! We pray and press on in proclaiming Christ to all.

2. Personal Update

a) Sarita and I have also been actively sharing the gospel through speech and Gospel leaflets to our lost family members, friends and neighbours. We long to see our friends and family members people come to know the Lord Jesus Christ. Please continue to pray.

And finally, we would like to thank you all for your continual love, support and prayers for us. It is humbling to know that there are people who deeply care for us. We would also like you to know that we also love you and pray for you.

With Warm Christian Love,

Sonny & Sarita
