Halstead is a market town of around 10,000 people with little gospel witness, 
though there are many ‘churches’. The name ‘Halstead’ comes from Old English and means ‘safe place’ or ‘place of refuge’. At Grace Baptist Church we seek to proclaim the Gospel, revealing the refuge that we can have through repentance of sin and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Please pray that the Lord will help us as we endeavour to establish a Christ-focused church in an area that has much religion, but little real relationship with God.
